In every culture around the world reside the fundamental foundations of being conservative or liberal. These are of course simply two unique ways of expressing our freedoms and pursuit of happiness. One should not say that either view is wrong; for how can a preference be wrong?
Our new America will be a harmonious working balance of these two polarities working out the subtle details into a symbiotic relationship, each one contributing to the whole. This fine tuning is easy now, that mega corporations massive manipulation of government and politics has been removed. Ironically when the power base of corporations was eliminated, so too died the manufactured "divide and conquer" propaganda campaign that set these two parties at odds.
South Shore
America had an epiphany that began with young Americas being bright enough to see through the illusions that were created by big money and mega corporate wealth. The epiphany was that fighting for corporate rights was in fact destroying the middle class and Capitalist principles. Many people had fallen victim to the media campaign that had for lack of a more respectful term, had brain washed the public that standing up for corporations was standing up for self and fair market.
This illusion was seen in clarity by the collapse of the American economy. This collapse began as the middle class had been so burdened with taxes and unemployment - yet the mega corporations were generating massive funds greater than any time in history. These massive corporations not only squirreled back 2 and a half trillion dollars in off shore accounts, but were also receiving money from the federal government as subsidies. Yet Americas responsibility to pay for wars, and interest to the federal reserve still had to be paid. This tab could only be picked up by the already strangling middle class, as mega corporations were not contributing their fair share. The poor class grew larger and larger, and the remaining middle class had to pay for them too.
Corporations greedy and illegal methods shrank the middle class so severely that there was no one left to spend money into the economy. This created Americas great collapse. Big moneys miscalculation here was that they never paused for a moment to realize they were killing the hand that fed them. People stopped buying things; small business stopped selling things. The corporations stock dived as the stock market plummeted. This was the catalyst, that allowed the young generation to stand up with a voice of one. For this was a young generation who was plugged in and turned on.
With a unity of one, the young generation organized together, and took a stand. America demonstration had never happened so quickly, or so powerful. And the rest... is history.
The federal reserve was quickly abolished, as it only served to keep America in debt and send the 40 percent interest payments to the top one tenth of one percent of the most wealthy people you've never heard of; term limits for congress was instituted so that a politician could not get into bed with big money and screw over Americans. Campaign reform was soon implemented; which meant big business could no longer manipulate who gets elected and who does not. Lobbying congress for special interests was allowed, yet any money passing hands through lobbying attempts was outlawed.
Then corporations were made to pay their fair share of taxes, as all loop holds were closed, as were all off shore tax havens. This alone generated trillions of dollars. The elimination of the federal reserve also generated trillions of dollars. Monopoly laws that were important enough for our founding fathers to address in the constitution were raised from the dead and the largest corporations were separated and divided.
New America is thriving with a true "fair market". Power was restored to the people, by the people. The middle class began to grow as more and more of the poor were able to break through the glass ceiling. The wealthy class began to grow as more and more of the middle class moved up. Corporate power and influence were removed from our political structure, and conservatives and liberals both, now belonged on the same page working together.
This, is the vision of New America, that I foresee coming of age in a similar scenario as I have outlined. The alternative, the unthinkable alternative being that big money and corporate power gets so large, that it will have stolen America right out from under us; and then it will be too late. Yet I am an optimist, I have to be. The first step, is to spread awareness. I have done my part; what will you do?
